Smith & O'Sullivan successfully completed the above Kitchen Improvement Scheme whithin budget and on programme for the client Southend-On-Sea Borough Council.
The project involved works to approx. 50 occupied homes borough wide and entailed the complete refurbishment of kitchens including M&E works.
The property types involved in this project were extremely diverse in design and age including; traditional housing, bungalows, low level flats and maisonettes. These had been constructed from the mid 1950's through to the 1970's. This posed a number of unique questions in relation to designing and programming within the project. Forward planning carried out between the clienht and the company reduced the difficulties posed by the works. Using a reliable supply chain, it was possible to programme the works to be flexible and reduce the inconvience caused to customers. The corrospending KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) received back from the customers via the client for this project proved extremely positive.
