Smith & O'Sullivan secured a partnering arrangement (50% of housing stock) with Southend-On-Sea Borough Council (now South Essex Homes) for External/Internal Redecoration & Associated Repairs over a five year term.
The partnering arrangement was developed by the client, and continues to be developed in conjunction with the company using the six main partnering objectives:
- Working together as a team to establish 'open book' arrangements
- Managing the supply chain to acheive a better service of delivery, continuity and savings
- Improving customer satisfaction
- Demonstrating 'best value'
- Monitoring performance via the use of KPI's (key performance indicators)
- Ensuring a fair and equal allocation of savings and risks
